as my foot is still recovering, the snow storm and the freezing temperatures force me to stay home again,

walking with crutches outside is simply impossible since three days

yesterday i made this cropped glove, like an underlayer for mitten

it was fun to do, i forgot how the crochet is instinctive in the process

(I bought an old Brownie Hawkeye on a flea market in Paris. The man was the owner of the camera and just when i was leaving he gave me also the film that was inside. A real 'extra bonus' because photos are on it. Since, i wonder what kind of photos, of course. :)

Reading the news about the Icelandic volcano paralyzing air traffic these days brings back memories : last year when the other icelandic volcano also blocked traffic, we were just about to move from Paris to Montreal, we just had left job, school, appartment, car, etc, and so we wandered several days around the town with our huge suitcases. I remember all this very well, even the name of the volcano : Eyjafjallajokull.
